Project Execution Plan
ANSAR Foundation aims to have the school ready for the April 2017 Academic year. For the single storey school this gives a construction phase of 11 months starting from April 2016 to March 2017. Below is the high level project plan and schedule.
The construction tender was awarded to FAROOQ & Associates, a subsidiary of the architect firm which designed the school. They came in with a cost effective quotation and demonstrated the most competencies through a current school build portfolio and travelled to the site to assess conditions. They also had established relations with tradesmen and labourers in the Manshera area. The work breakdown structure and payment schedule for the construction phase as quoted by the construction company is provided in the table below. The total estimated cost for the construction of Phase 1 (single storey school building) is £85,000.
