50 tube wells with accompanying hand pumps were installed for flood affected communities in Badin, Sindh. The total cost of this project was 600,000 Pakistan Rupees. The selection of communities was undertaken by Al-Khidmat Foundation (Sindh Branch) whose presence in the area ensured the most needy victims were selected.

The region of Badin was severely affected by the floods of 2010 and the remoteness of the region meant very little aid was being distributed to them. Clean water was the main necessity for people of the region with old water wells being contaminated from the floods.
